The Solidarity Sukkah - a beautiful week of love, commitment, harmony and remembrance

Thanks to all who visited our Solidarity Sukkah for Gaza during the week of Sukkot. We were so grateful to have a chance to introduce ourselves to members of the wider community, as well as meet and chat with lots of local Jewish people who had not yet heard of us. It was a time of sharing, talking, being together and raising money for Hastings friends of Al Mawasi. We reflected on the exalted guests (ushpizin) of remembrance, harmony, love, commitment, leadership, humility, endurance and connection. And we were filled with gratitude that the week ended with news of the ceasefire. Thanks to everyone who joined the sukkah and thanks to Eamon Burke-Duggan for some of these great pics.
