Shabbat Dinner Raises £1200 for Palestinian Poet Hala

Thank you to everyone who supported our Friday Night Fundraiser at The Printworks on Friday 2 October.

It was a very special evening of sharing traditions, food and music and we are thrilled to report that the evening raised £1200 for Hala Mduhk.

We served a four course vegan meal to 50 guests and enjoyed wonderful performances from Tom Fryer and Lily Kim - otherwise known as Coyote Cash - and Yair Katz.

We heard from Hala herself, who recorded a message from Gaza including a reading of her favourite poem Friend. For anyone interested in reproducing the recipes from the specially-designed menu, we have uploaded them to our Resources page.

We hope to do it all again soon but for now - here are a few pictures from a memorable evening.
