Seed Swap event for Tu B'Shvat a tremendous success!

Thanks to everyone who came to our community seed swap on Sunday 1 February.

Despite the horrible weather we welcomed around 120 during the afternoon and raised over £500 for Hastings Friends of Al Mawasi.

We celebrated nature’s renewal for Tu B’Shvat by sharing resources for the upcoming growing year, which means we can all plant more and buy less.

As importantly, we reached new people in our community, sharing information with our exhibition, and inviting people to take simple but important actions like signing up to our newsletter or joining the boycott campaign to make a difference.

Hopefully, we also gave people the tools also to speak to others and understand why Gaza and the West Bank need to remain uppermost in our minds and actions.

The carefully created information boards are a lasting resource which will soon become part of our online platform.
